Since 1902, Purdue Convocations has been booking top attractions for the university and our local community. The Student Concert Committee advises on popular entertainment choices, making sure that Boilermakers have access to amazing events. Purdue’s Department of Theatre and Dance stages four plays a year, providing performance and backstage opportunities for both theatre majors and non-majors. Scholarships are available to students pursuing degrees in the theatre department.

Purdue Galleries present rotating exhibits throughout the year, featuring both student and faculty shows, as well as artwork from regional, national and international artists. The galleries’ permanent collection includes nearly 7,000 pieces of art, ranging from ancient archaeological material to 21st century experimental works.

Nationally recognized as a foodie city, it’s easy to try global flavors and local favorites in Indianapolis. You may want to join the Flavor Enthusiasts Club, a student group that explores the city’s culinary scene together. Students in West Lafayette use Purdue’s free round-trip shuttle service to explore Indiana’s capital city.
