Help with Purdue Application For Natural Disaster-Impacted Students

In support of students and school officials who have been affected by a recent natural disaster, Purdue University is offering application fee waivers and alternative methods to complete the admission application for impacted students. In addition, we will work with students on an individual basis if they are unable to meet our Nov. 1 Early Action and scholarship application deadline.

Here’s what students need to know:

  • To receive a waiver of the $60 application fee, impacted students should select the natural disaster fee waiver listed among the Purdue-specific questions on the Common Application or Coalition Application.
  • If students do not have access to grades and/or ACT or SAT test scores, they can self-report this information through their Slate portal.
  • If affected students cannot meet the Nov. 1 Early Action and scholarship application deadline, they should contact the Office of Admissions, 765-494-1776, admissions@purdue.edu, to discuss options for a deadline extension.

We offer our deepest sympathy to families who are recovering from a natural disaster and hope these accommodations for submitting and completing the Purdue application can, in some small measure, help college-bound students as they continue to plan for the future.
