Put yourself on an accelerated path to leadership with a major in technology leadership and innovation (TLI). You will study how innovative and technology-rich organizations operate and succeed.
All students in the major must choose one of three concentrations:
Supply chain management technology
You will focus on the entire supply chain enterprise. Courses will provide a systems approach where students can understand how each area of the supply chain interacts with or relies on the rest.
You will focus on leadership and innovation to develop skills to be a leader for national and global technology enterprises. Learn how to lead innovation technology organizations, global teams and organizational change. Technology laws and policies are also included.
Technology systems management
You will focus on both technical and human-centered approaches to technology management. You will learn how to manage and coordinate engineering operations and lead projects from design to implementation.
Skills gained in this concentration prepare graduates for a wide variety of options: retail establishments, manufacturing plants, government agencies, hospitals, healthcare organizations and more.
The TLI major includes globalization experiences (study abroad or internships with global organizations) and capstone projects to help you put your knowledge in a real-world context.
