Students study human society and culture by investigating how individuals and social groups relate to one another. The primary aim of coursework is to provide students with an understanding of social institutions and organizations; social behavior and social structures; cultures; and the theories and methods for studying them.

Transfer GPA and Course Requirements

Purdue admits to individual majors. To be considered for admission as a college transfer student, applicants must meet minimum GPA requirements for their desired major. In addition, some majors have course requirements. Requirements for this major are posted below (unless the program is closed to transfers).
