Manufacturing Engineering Technology

College of Technology

As you advance in the manufacturing engineering technology (MFET) program, you'll discover how a well-planned manufacturing system incorporates people, processes, and technology. Your classes will focus on automation of the process, and using computers to design and manufacture, improve processes, and ensure quality control.

Automation and Systems Integration
Find better ways to manufacture products and maintain quality control through the entire production process.

Mechatronics
Graduates with this concentration will be able to apply embedded controllers to mechanical systems, from smart sensors for water quality to energy saving appliances to electric vehicle regeneration systems.

Robotics
Graduates with this concentration will be able to implement robotic solutions in industrial settings and understand the growing role of robotics in energy sustainability and healthcare.
