Building construction management (BCM) prepares students for a challenging and rewarding career in management or project management within the construction industry. Through interactive classes and hands-on projects, BCM students experience all aspects of a construction project.
Classes focus on leadership and organization as well as materials and processes. They also include the latest industry technologies, including building information modeling.
Majors can add concentrations to make them more marketable. The program offers six, including disaster restoration and reconstruction and healthcare construction.
Transfer GPA and Course Requirements
Purdue admits to individual majors. To be considered for admission as a college transfer student, applicants must meet minimum GPA requirements for their desired major. In addition, some majors have course requirements. Requirements for this major are posted below (unless the program is closed to transfers).
