College of Science
Health and disease is a biology program of study with an emphasis on disease-related upper-level biology courses and general education electives that relate to health. The major provides a rigorous curriculum for students interested in health careers, thus giving the student many career options after graduation.
Transfer GPA and Course Requirements
Purdue admits to individual majors. To be considered for admission as a college transfer student, applicants must meet minimum GPA requirements for their desired major. In addition, some majors have course requirements. Requirements for this major are posted below (unless the program is closed to transfers).
Minimum GPA: 2.5
Additional Requirements: Completion of at least one semester of college-level calculus equivalent to MA 16100 or MA 16500 with a grade of C or higher.
