Apparel Design and Technology

College of Health and Human Sciences

This program prepares students for careers in apparel design, apparel manufacturing techniques and processes, product development, quality control, computer-aided design, and business.  Courses in the major include art and design, apparel design, fashion illustration, textile science, pattern design, drafting/draping, historic costuming, fashion show production along with business related coursework in accounting, consumer behavior, marketing, and retail management.
