Courses in finance incorporate the principles of financial reporting, quantitative analysis, economics, psychology and history. Graduates find careers in corporate, government, and not-for-profit sectors as well as consulting firms and financial institutions of all shapes and sizes.
Transfer GPA and Course Requirements
Purdue admits to individual majors. To be considered for admission as a college transfer student, applicants must meet minimum GPA requirements for their desired major. In addition, some majors have course requirements. Requirements for this major are posted below (unless the program is closed to transfers).
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Additional Requirements: Completion of at least a college-level calculus course with a grade of C or higher.
