Fall Preview Days Sample Agenda

An Overview of Your Day

Morning activities are scheduled and guided. Purdue staff and students will be available throughout the morning to answer questions and help you get where you need to go. We'll also guide you to our dining courts for lunch and afternoon activities will be on your own. Throughout the afternoon, shuttle buses specifically for this event will stop at key, well-identified locations around campus and Purdue representatives will be on the buses to answer questions and help you navigate campus. And, of course, Purdue students all over campus are always willing to help campus visitors find their way.

All times are Eastern Time. Times for individual activities are subject to change, but the overall program's start and end time will not.

Catch the Bus
7:45-10 a.m.

Academic Sessions
10:15-11:15 a.m. & 11:30 - 12:30 a.m., various locations

All of Purdue's academic colleges and schools will host sessions to provide information about their majors and opportunities for students. Most sessions are offered twice so that students who are exploring multiple interests can attend two different college sessions. There also are sessions for undecided students (Exploratory Studies) as well as sessions for the following interests: aviation, entrepreneurship and pre-professional programs (pre-med, pre-law, pre-dentistry, etc.) If you want to plan ahead, check out Purdue majors online.

Here's a list of the morning's academic sessions. Locations will be provided with the agenda you receive when you check in:

*College of Health and Human Sciences academic department sessions: Consumer Science; Health and Kinesiology; Health Sciences; Hospitality and Tourism Management; Nursing; Human Development and Family Studies; Nursing; Nutrition Science; Psychological Sciences; Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences

11:45 a.m. &  12:45, walk from Stewart Center to dining courts

Lunch is on us, and it's good. (Purdue is ranked among the nation's best for campus food.)
(Limit 3 complimentary lunches per family.)

Alumni and Guest Center, Cary Towers

Walk or ride the bus to see a student room and residence hall.

(Continuous routes - you can expect to wait no more than 15 minutes between buses.)

12:15 – 2:00 p.m. – Buses will shuttle guests between dining courts and other campus locations (including Stewart Center). Shuttle service from the dining courts ends at 2:00 p.m.
2:00 – 4:30 p.m. – Shuttle service continues on the academic campus with stops at key destinations — Stewart Center (STEW), University Street near Schleman Hall (SCHL), Cary Towers (CARY), and the North Stadium Parking Lot.

Explore campus on your own. A wide variety of activities will allow you to customize your day.
