Important Information:

• Fall 2008 Transfer Students - Transfer students who plan to apply for fall 2008 MUST use the fall 2008 application PDF or request a 2008 paper application from the Office of Admissions. If fall 2008 applicants use the online application, they will not be evaluated or admitted for fall 2008.

Apply Early
High school seniors are encouraged to apply early in their senior year. Many programs have deadlines.

The 2009 application will include a required personal statement. Students who want to get a head start can view the personal statement questions here.

Online Application
When creating a new online application, you will create a login and PIN. You must remember your unique login and PIN so that you may return to your application, either to finish and submit a saved application or to check the status of your application after submission.

Completing Your Application
After submitting an online application, students should check their application status to determine what items are necessary to complete the application, such as a high school transcript or an ACT or SAT test score. Your Purdue application is not complete until all items are received by the Purdue Office of Admissions.

Paper Applications
All students are encouraged to apply online, which will allow for online status check and ensure the integrity of student data. Students who use paper applications may experience processing delays. For students are unable to use the online application, PDFs are available here. To receive a paper application, you may contact the Office of Admissions.

Admissions Documents
Some students may be required to download a supplemental form to complete or change an application or to appeal an admission decision. These forms are available online.

Closed Programs
Admission to individual academic programs may close at any point during the year. Visit our closed programs page to ensure the program to which you plan to apply is available.
