Veterinary Technology

School of Veterinary Medicine

A major in veterinary technology prepares the graduate to be an integral member of the veterinary healthcare team. The program encompasses the care and handling of animals, the basic principles of normal and abnormal life processes, various laboratory and clinical procedures, imaging, dental hygiene, pre- and post-surgical patient care, and anesthesia.
